Breakers Released

20 December 2007 14:28

CagedBreakers ReleasedSeattle, WA — On Tuesday, Titan Media released Breakers, the last triple-x feature directed by GayVN Hall of Fame Director, Bruce Cam. Shot in high-definition on and around the Titan ranch and released in 16×9 anamorfic widescreen format, Breakers promises to be visually stunning and I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product.

There are several memories from that shoot in mid September I can share.

It was my first time working with Bruce Cam on set and a wonderful opportunity for the two of us to get to know each other better. He shot a lot of b-roll and behind the scenes footage with me while I was there. I learned much about his approach to filming, understanding of the industry, personal character and public commitments while watching him work and chatting with him as time permitted.

Francois Sagat was on set while I was there as well. While we didn’t have a scene scheduled together, some of the b-roll segments I’ve mentioned captured our interaction on tape. Sagat is a sweet and sexy man so I wasn’t surprised by my attraction to him or the chemistry between us. I was, however, surprised by how clearly I could see it all resonate on screen when Cam showed me some of the dailies. I already knew I wanted to take Sagat, thought it would look great caught on tape, and shared these thoughts with Cam for future reference.

Breakers Released (Bonus)My partners for the action scene I was brought down for were Dean Flynn and Rick van Sant. I had met Flynn on the set of Fear. While he’s well over six feet tall, his boyish charm and physique reminded me of a college jock; adventurous, cock sure and open to my advances. I had never met van Sant, but his reputation as a world class fisting bottom gave portent of things to come… you never really know what the studio is going to ask for or exactly how a scene will play out until you’re on set and the cameras are rolling. In Breakers I belt Flynn’s ass ’til it’s red and have my fist fucked to the elbow by van Sant on a picnic table, not to mention the pounding both got from my favorite stick to beat a boy with.

About mid-way through the second day of shooting, Brian Mills asked if I would be will to stay over an extra day to shoot a half scene with Darius Falke and Sagat. Normally, I would have jumped on such an opportunity; unfortunately I had clients scheduled the following day. Luckily my clients are very understanding and responses to my requests to reschedule sessions were all in the affirmative. So I stayed over another day and had a blast with Falke and Sagat. The best part came after we were finished shooting and Sagat came up to me and said, in that adorable French accent of his, “You know when you were fucking me? I was not acting.” It felt like the sweetest thing anyone had ever said to me.

My copies are in the mail and I’ll post my thoughts after I see the DVDs. Until then you can read more about the release here or purchase it at the TitanMen website.

How to Deal with a Prima Donna on Set

14 December 2007 13:15

MonsignoreHow to Deal with a Prima Donna on SetSeattle, WA — While shooting with Titan, I simply tie them down and put a gag in their mouth. If you don’t have a ball gag handy, a twelve-foot length of rope with a double frapping knot does the trick nicely. The rope may not butch them up, but at least it immobilizes them and the gage keeps them from talking about themselves or Cher long enough to build some sexual energy on set.

That’s Jackson Wild (photographed above and below) on the set of Home Invasion. Honestly, I don’t mean to imply he was a diva in any way. In actuality, he was one of the few true pleasures I experienced making this feature. Jackson is an adorable boy and eating his ass is like going to a banquet in heaven. Our fuck scene, shot on my last night at the ranch, was incredibly hot as will be evidenced by the spontaneous eruption of money shots made by our scene partners while watching the action. You know the energy is good on set when the crew is challenged to keep up with the action. If Jackson didn’t live in the opposite corner of the country I’d be tempted to do it again without the cameras.

How to Deal with a Prima Donna on Set (Bonus)Jackson, you’re a beautiful kid, good sport and great piece of ass. Thanks.

I’m back home now after a week on the road. It’s been fun but I’m a little fatiqued and fighting a cold. After I got back, I was catching up on correspondence and various industry sites when I ran across the best review/mention I could imagine. From Joe Gage‘s blog on 11 Dec 2007:

“Tony Buff joined the cast yesterday. It’s the second time I’ve worked with him, and I can’t wait to see the public reaction when the stuff he’s done for me begins to appear. The guy’s a total movie star – endowed in both senses of the word – the second big organ being the one beating inside his beautiful chest. Sexy and soulful is always a killer combination.”

Thanks, Joe, working with you makes it easy.

I guess I’ll need to get used to the press. While on the road I learned I’d been mentioned in Mister Marcus‘ column for the Bay Area Reporter and that pictures from the CHC bar night at the Hole made it into Gay Chicago Magazine. Derek and I are being interviewed for this weekend and I just finished an interview for the Up and Coming feature in Unzipped Magazine. That interview should appear in the March issue.

Derek is flying in tonight for a weekend visit and tomorrow night we’re going to a Dragon family play party. I’m really looking forward to stringing him up like a sling and fucking him like a mad animal. Maybe I’ll capture a few photos of the rigging and get them posted.

Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch

12 December 2007 14:57

CagedMeanwhile, Back at the Ranch[Undisclosed Location], CA — Monday morning, I flew into SFO and immediately headed down to the Titan ranch to begin shooting Home Invasion, a new feature directed by Joe Gage. This is my forth movie with Titan and second with GayVN Hall of Fame Director, Joe Gage. The Titan ranch is starting to feel like a vacation home. Now don’t get the wrong idea; shooting ‘art films’ is definitely work, but the weather has been beautiful (especially after rainy Seattle and a very cold Chicago) and the crew takes very good care of me.

I’ve become very fond of Brian Mills and Paul Wild . Brian directed Fear and served as Production Manager and Director of Photography for Chainsaw, Breakers and now Home Invasion. Paul has been the principle cameraman and production coordinator on all four of my Titan films. They seem like extended family to me now and I always look forward to seeing them. We share a common work ethic and focus while maintaining an enjoyable environment even in the face of adversity. I also know that when I’m working with them, all I have to worry about is my performance and can trust they’ll do everything they can to make it look good.

Meanwhile, Bak at the Ranch (Bonus)The shoot itself has been fast and furious. Monday night we shot my half scene, a voyuer J/O while watching Tyler Saint and Enrique Currera get it on, in addition to various non-action and dialog scenes. I play Rudge, boss of the crew ‘invading’ the house and it’s occupants. The entire movie is being shot at night with a distinctly film-noir feel. This makes for a very different production schedule than I have been a part of in the past and we didn’t finish up until around midnight. Tuesday, we shoot stills and the first half of my full scene with Geoffrey Paine, Ty Roberts and Sean Preston. Tonight we add Jackson Wild and Tommy Ruckus to the mix.

I did pick up an interesting piece of scuttlebutt while on set for those of you wondering what might be next. It seems Tony Buff might be going to Prison after this little Home Invasion, but more on that later.

Hey, Hollywood

20 November 2007 8:31

PersonalHey, HollywoodLos Angeles, CA –That’s what we used to call Marines who went though boot at MCRD San Diego, CA. The term works well to describe me. I’ve been at home here in my old stomping grounds, these last few days. Although I grew up in southern Cali, I never lived in West Hollywood but it was a frequently visited backyard. There is a certain friendly, theater quality to Los Angeles witch is brought to a high focus among the gay populous of WeHo. I’ve been a theater Buff as long as I can remember and friendly, bordering on flirtatious. I fit right in just about any scene.

I flew with Anamaria, one of my favorite travel companions. We met an attractive Pinoy at the airport who was also on our return flight and gave Anamaria and me a lift when our ride was unavailable. I’ve offered to buy him a drink or coffee (a euphemism) to show my gratitude.

Most of my time in LA was spent with Braxton Bond, the boy I was paired with for my last film directed by Joe Gage. Our chemistry then was incredible so I intended to hook up with Braxton while I was down south but didn’t expect to feel as comfortable as I did with him and his roommate.

Friday night was an intimate, little house party with a bunch of twenty-somethings. Oh, to be twenty-four years old again… I’ll pass, thank you very much. Saturday was movie night and some reconnecting, mostly industry talk and comparing notes on studios, directors and scene partners. Sunday, I got in some shopping and went to the beer bust at the Motherload.

While at the Motherload, Gayborhood.TV made me the subject of a street interview. I thought the young, um… lady that did the interview was quite pretty, so I included the photo above.

16 November 2007 14:55

ReflectiveSeattle, WA — Alaska Airlines flight 29 was about to re-board at Chicago’s O’Hare after a four-and-a-half hour delay late Monday evening when I got the tesxt message from my boy Derek that read, “Well congrats. You are in,” in reference to my application for Associate Membership with the Chicago Hellfire Club. It was undoubtedly the best news I had received in the last several hours. I feel truly honored to call the men of the CHC brother and privileged to call many of them friend. To those who sponsored me, I owe a debt of gratitude and to those who supported my application, my thanks.

My time in Seattle has been short since I’m flying to Los Angeles in a few hours. The time has been spent primarily with clients and business demands. Titan has booked me for my forth feature with them. I’m told Joe Gage has written a part with me in mind. The part plays out like one of my darker fantasies. I wouldn’t speculate on the details here but the theme is ‘home invasion’ and we’re set to film in December. Joe Gage is one of my favorite directors to work with and Brian Mills is usually involved this the production of his shoots. Chainsaw, my first opportunity to work with Gage, was enjoyable right down to my scene partner, Braxton Bond. It may turn out to be one of my best performances. I’m looking forward to screening Chainsaw when it is released sometime next year.

I also got a chance to spend some time with the boys. I spent Tuesday night with Christopher. My Thai boy TJ brought me dinner on Wednesday. And, Jeff took me out for steaks last night as congratulations on my induction into the CHC.

Soldiers of Misfortune

3 November 2007 10:58

CagedSoldiers of MisfortuneSeattle, WA — Now available through Zeus Studios is the feature that marks my entrance into the world of adult films, Soldiers of Misfortune.

For this first time in front of the camera, I am teamed up with my Chicago boy Derek DaSilva, Cullen Cable and Zeus veteran Bryce Pierce to deliver a video packed with heavy BDSM that includes strict rope bondage, gut punching, chest pounding, cock and ball bashing, flogging, hot wax, and brutally hard core fucking. The action is real, brutal and intense.

Shot at the men’s resort Helios in Palm Springs back in May, this film holds special meaning to me for two reasons. Not only was it an opportunity to work with the legendary director Daddy Zeus whose movies helped inspire and define my taste for BDSM, it was on the set of SOM that I collared my boy Derek. If you look through the promotional stills, you’ll find a photo that captures the moment.

You can learn more about SOM and the Zeus BDSM Commando Series on the AVN web site by reading the article, Zeus BDSM Commando Series Set to Debut.

Out for the World to See

10 October 2007 11:10

CagedOut for the World to SeeSeattle, WA — Got home from Dallas to find an advance copy of the film Derek and I did for Daddy Zeus in the mail and stills from Fear posted online.

The film, Solders of Misfortune, is better than I expected. The BDSM is intense and visually impressive. As my first time in front of the camera, my overall performance has a certain amateur quality. It seems to work well though. I’m happy I was paired with Derek for my first couple of videos; our connection comes across on screen and it made the shoots much more comfortable. Solders of Misfortune should be available soon. I let you know as soon as I hear.

Thanks to a buddy on-line, I was pointed to a GaySexBlog posting that featured some of my stills from Fear. Brian Mills did the shots. He’s a skilled photographer in addition to an accomplished director. He’s also one of my favorite people to work with. Check out Titan Gets Buff if you want to see the pictures.

Thinking Like a Straight Man

4 October 2007 17:43

MonsignoreThinking Like a Straight ManSeattle, WA — Here’s a shout out to one of the people that make life in the Pacific Northwest so unique. Mistress Matisse is a writer, Pro Dom and one of my favorite women in the world. She’s also one of the few ladies that make me think like a straight man, which of course means that when I see her, I stop thinking all together.

So when I saw Matisse at the Folsom Street Fair last month in front of the Titan booth, I couldn’t help myself. I jumped right over the table, grabbed her up in my arms and gave her a big hug. (Word to the wise: Do not attempt this if you do not have a pre-existing relationship that permits such activity. You will get hurt!)

Earlier today I read she mentioned the exchange in her blog, so I thought I’d post a photo capturing the moment. I am proud to consider Matisse a friend and encourage you the read Control Tower, her regular articles in the Stranger.

Larger Than Life

30 September 2007 18:30

PersonalLarger Than LifeSan Francisco, CA — Back in July, when I was shooting FEAR, my first film for Titan, I had no idea it would lead to signing on as an excusive or that my “art film” career would be launched so dramatically.

The performances at Magnitude went well last night. Derek and I weren’t able to do a rope suspension because of logistics, so we did a little impact scene (punching and CBT) instead. Diesel Washington and Damien Crosse, the other Titan Men, did a great water sports scene. The crowd seemed to enjoy. It was a huge party and made for a late night, early morning.

Walking to the Leather Post, Naked Sward, Social Kink and Titan mega booth in front of the Power House this morning was surreal. Looking at the ten-foot tall image of myself, I couldn’t help but wonder how big this was going to get. If you’ve watched the Tim and Roma interviews shot on the set of FEAR, you know I agreed to do my first adult feature, for Daddy Zeus, as a means to play and expand upon my relationship with Derek. Now, with two more Titan features scheduled for release in the next five months, members of my leather family are starting to call me “Big Screen.”

Christopher is off to the Real Bad party with VIP access courtesy of the studio to dance his sweet ass off. Derek and I are going to a quiet dinner out. We’ll probably review our performance in the movie before we hit the rack.

Fear Premiere

29 September 2007 17:00

Fear PremiereSan Francisco, CA — Arrived yesterday afternoon with my boys Christopher and Derek for Folsom Street Fair and the premiere of Fear, my first film with Titan Media. It’s been a whirlwind of activity since. Before dinner, we had rehearsals for our performance at Magnitude later tonight. After dinner, we went to a pre-func at Bruce Cam’s town-home then to the debut of Fear at 440 Castro (Daddy’s Bar).

The premiere party was overwhelming. The bar was pack, ass-hole to belly button. It was a little surreal walking in to a bar filled with posters and televisions all containing my image. The boys and I ended up hanging out on the sidewalk in front of the bar until we had to leave for the play party sponsored by the Men of Discipline.

The play party was great. I always seem to enjoy MOD events. I strung Derek up, single tailed Christopher and then turned my attention back to Derek, beating him until we were all flying high on a mixture of adrenaline and endorphins. It was a good cap to a busy day.

Earlier today we all attended the Big Muscle party at the Mezzanine, a benefit for the AIDS Emergency Fund. That’s where the photo above of Bruce Cam, François Sagat and I was taken. The party was a little more my speed, especially after the activities the previous day. The space was roomy, bright and filled with hot, friendly men.

We’ve got a performance at Magnitude late tonight, so that’s it for now. I’ll post tomorrow.
